Summer Events Help The Tide® Accomplish Its Mission to Share the Good News of Jesus Christ

With summer unofficially kicking off on Memorial Day, The Tide® has exciting summer plans that will help accomplish its mission to creatively share the Good News of Jesus Christ worldwide.

First, on June 21, The Tide 40th Annual Golf Benefit kicks off at Penn National Golf Club and provides a great way to make a global impact for Christ while also participating in a pleasurable hobby. The ministry has hosted the event for four decades at Penn National in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.

“Over the years, The Tide Annual Golf Benefit has earned the reputation as a great event that is popular among golfers of all ages and skill levels,” said The Tide Director Don Shenk. “Imagine—a few hours of golf can help provide eternal hope for others!”

The June golf outing is a scramble and will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. on the Founder’s course. The cost of $90 per golfer covers greens fees for 18 holes and a cart. Complimentary refreshments will be available at various locations around the course, a free picnic lunch will be provided, and participants will be entered in a drawing for prizes, including drivers, irons, golf bags, push carts, a GPS unit and more. On designated holes, individuals will also be able to compete for prizes for the longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin. In addition, a $10,000 hole-in-one prize is being offered on the ninth hole.

Then, from June 27-30, the Creation music festival at Agape Camp Farm in Mount Union, Pennsylvania, is also marking 40 years. For many years, The Tide ministry has attended the Creation Northeast Festival to interact with people of all ages as they gather in community and fellowship, and to also share more about how God is reaching His people through The Tideministry.

And if you’re traveling late this summer, you can catch us at enFuego music festival on August 25!

Representatives from The Tide ministry will also attend the Uprise18 music festival in at the Shippensburg (Pa.) Fairgrounds on Sept 14-15. The festival features the country’s top Christian rock bands, and the two-day event gives The Tide ministry an opportunity to share its mission and heart for people worldwide with a younger population.

To close the summer, The Tide is also hosting three promotional dinner events in September. All dinners start at 6PM:
