In India, The Tide currently produces heart language radio programs in seven different languages. The longest standing heart language radio program The Tide broadcasts is the Hindi language, which has been on the air for 34 years. Because of the large Hindi speaking population, The Tide has two different programs that are aired at different times during the week. For over 30 years The Tide has been touching lives through the Hindi language program and many lives are still being changed today by these two radio programs.

“I come from a non-Christian family but have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, through the radio program ‘Aap Ke Liye’. In my village, there is no Christian except me. I try to share about Jesus Christ with others but sometimes I feel lonely, discouraged and helpless. “For the last several years I have been listening to ‘Aap Ke Liye’ and ‘Nav Jeevan’ Hindi Radio broadcasts. There has been a change in my life after listening to the programs. I believe in Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as my Lord and Saviour. “In my village, a radio Seekers meeting was held in 2010 by The Tide. I happened to pass through that place without knowing about the meeting. It was held in an open place, so I stopped there and listened to the word of God for some time. It was very interesting and heart-touching so I decided not to go for my work and sat there with others. When the meeting was over I met with the speaker he told me about the radio program and gave me a Radio Program Guide. At home, I started listening to the ‘Aap Ke Liye’ radio program according to the Radio schedule. The word of God and your teachings touched my heart. Before that my life was full of sin and darkness but the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ opened my eyes. One day I repented for my sins and gave my life to Jesus and accepted Him as my Lord and Saviour. I am writing to you for the first time, please uphold me in your prayers.” –Mr. M
Although The Tide reaches many people through radio broadcast, this is not the only way The Tide shares the good news of Jesus Christ. The Tide also offers correspondence courses and literature distribution to listeners that want to learn more about Jesus. The Tide also conducts Seekers Conferences in different areas to help believers learn more and grow deeper in their faith. Radios for India is another way The Tide helps the people to hear the gospel message. The Tide distributes radios to different people in rural areas in India. Many times, these people will share the radio with others and form community listening groups.
