Earlier this year The Tide launched an Albanian language radio program in partnership with Radio 7, a Christian radio network in Albania and Kosovo. The first quarterly report has come in and indicates that after just a few months on the air this program is changing lives. For example, a listener shared this story:
“I am a professional electrician. Almost every day I listen to the messages of Pastor Klodi. One day, he was talking about God’s love and how he loves us. One of my sons is a Christian, but I’m an atheist. One day I was working and listening to the program at the same time, and a strong conviction about sin came into my heart. I stopped working, and I started to cry. I was deeply touched by what Jesus did for me and how he loves me and my family. That day, I remembered how many times my own son tried to tell me about Jesus and I did not listen to him. From that day, I have decided to give my life to Jesus. I have started to visit church on all Sundays when I am not working. The Word of God changed my life and made me new. I am 62 years old, and for the first time in my life, now I feel new and I have a purpose to live in life. I want to tell all my friends about this amazing life they can have in Christ. I have a radio that is a gift from Pastor Klodi so I can listen to him. Thank you.”

The first time I hear the Radio 7 and the program with Pastor Klodi Lumci. I am sending you this letter to thank you for the encouragement you give to me and to my daughter. We are in the hospital because my daughter is sick and she needs new blood all the time. In a moment she was sleeping and I was staying near to her trying to listen to the radio. I didn’t know about Radio 7 before. Pastor Klodi Lumci was speaking about God’s Peace in our life. So I started to listen to that program. I want to thank Pastor Klodi for sharing with me the Word of the Lord and helping me to find the real peace. Before the program, I was very bad feeling inside and very afraid about my life and my daughter’s life. I prayed to God to help me while listening to the program. At the end of the program, you invited listeners to pray with you through the radio if we want to find that peace ourselves. I prayed with my face on the floor asking God to forgive my sins and to give me a new life. In that moment I felt a powerful touch in my heart. I am married and have a husband and 5 children. I work every day to a shoe factory. My husband has no job but also he is alcoholic so he brings a lot of problems. For me to listen to the program at Radio 7 Nord it is a big blessing from God, it gives me hope and strength. I am a Christian and my children too, but I can’t go to church every time because of my husband. So I listen to the program and grow in faith. -File
